Read 52 Books in 52 Weeks

 52 Books in 52 Weeks

We're just a few days into the new year, and it might be fun to do a "52 Books 52 Weeks" challenge, as a way to share what we are reading.

The "rules" are very simple and the goal is to read one book (at least) a week for 52 weeks.

  1. The challenge will run through December 31, 2013.
  2. Participants may join at any time, just make a comment on the weekly entry.
  3. All books are acceptable except children books.
  4. All forms of books are acceptable including e-books, audio books, etc.
  5. Re-reads are acceptable as long as they are read after January 1, 2013
My personal goal will be 52 books, but if you'd like to participate and that's more than you want to tackle, then set your own goal and join in!

demon key by david brookover

this book is available on amazon.
a serial killer is on the loose in florida. the main characters, teddi mccoy (fbi), dexter lowe (sheriff) and jackson laFevre (psychic) are out to stop the serial killer. things don't always go as planned. turns out, there's a dinosaur living in demon key, florida and a demon is about to be resurrected.

i thought it was a wonderful story. i personally love dinosaurs!!! dinosaurs and demons, i couldn't ask for much more

A little bit mystery, a little bit horror, a little bit fantasy, sounds great!

night circus by erin morgenstern. ut was very good. are 16 year olds allowed to join this challenge? and do you just post every time you finish a book? and do you have to put a description of it on the post?

"The Night Circus" is an amazing book, very unique. Yes, please join! We're just asking that the books people post are adult or teen books, no children's books. You don't have to put a description, but a short blurb does give readers an idea of what it's about. And sure, post anytime...although it's best to put it on the top post, which is the newest.
