I read "Burn For Burn" by J Han and S Vivian. It's about 3 high school girls getting revenge on people who have wronged them. I give it an 8/10 rating, it was a quick read and the characters were believable and generally likable.

Book Title: A Killing Tide
Author: PJ Alderman

Kaz Jorgensen is used to fear--the anxiety of negotiating treacherous currents as she captains her family's fishing trawlers, the terrifying nightmares of the day she almost lost her life on the river. But now a friend is dead, an arsonist has set the Anna Marie ablaze, and her twin brother is missing, accused of arson and murder.
The new fire chief, Michael Chapman, is coping with personal loss that nearly destroyed him. Right after moving to town, he finds himself dealing with a secretive, insular fishing community that views him as an outsider. And after rumors circulate raising questions about his most recent arson case in his prior job, he can't afford to get involved with the sister of a suspect. But when someone takes a shot at her, he realizes that whatever happens, he can't allow another woman to die because of him.

Burn for Burn - revenge tales are so much fun. Sounds like you'll be looking for Book 2!

A Killing Tide - always love to hear about a new author with a new woman sleuth. Just added this to our next fiction order.

I read The Dog Stars by Peter Heller - actually listened to it on CD. Very different book - Took a little getting used to the style of writing but I liked it
